According to the Peoplebank ICT Salary & Employment Index, released today, demand is outstripping supply for ICT professionals with skills in digital technologies.
The index showed demand for talent was strongest in NSW, Victoria and ACT in the past three months.
Peoplebank reported a 25 per cent increase in IT jobs, including contracting and permanent, from 2013 to 2014.
For the 2014 fourth quarter, there was a 41 per cent rise, compared with the previous corresponding period.
